2nd Moodle Research Conference
4th and 5th of October, 2013
Sousse, Tunisia

The Moodle Research Conference (MRC) is a unique annual event dedicated to
research and  development (R&D) in learning and teaching carried out with
Moodle. The MRC is an opportunity for academics, researchers, experts and
practitioners who use Moodle and  perform research and development to share
experiences and exchange research achievements and innovative developments.

We invite scientists and practitioners to submit full papers or posters that
critically report on quantitative and qualitative research concerning
learning and teaching with Moodle. 

The conference venue is a beautiful location in Sousse, Tunisia.
Participants will have opportunities to connect with peers and learn about
new Moodle R&D trends and debate research ideas that could improve the
design of Moodle in the future.

We invite scientists and practitioners to submit manuscripts (full papers or
posters) 

critically reporting on quantitative and qualitative research results
concerning learning with Moodle. 

Topics
Prospective authors are invited to submit manuscripts reporting original
unpublished research and recent developments. The following are possible
topics involving Moodle.

* Experimental research involving methods and tools
* Case studies on the effectiveness of teaching methods
* Innovative plugins
* Mobile learning
* Learning analytics
* Collaborative learning
* Communities of practice 
* Interoperability with Moodle
* Accessibility
* Personalisation and adaptivity
* Massive Open Online Courses


Paper submission guidelines
Prospective authors are invited to submit:
* research papers up to 8 pages (including figures and references) or
* posters up to 1000 words in length.

Submissions will be made using the EasyChair conference management system.
All submissions will undergo double-blind peer review involving at least two
program committee members.

Accepted papers will be published as conference proceedings with an ISBN in
an open access, online-only version.

26 August 2013 Submission of final copy of accepted papers 
26 August 2013 Early-bird registration deadline 
4 October 2013 Conference Start

Venue
The conference will take place in Sousse, Tunisia, a very interesting
tourist location, visited yearly by more than 1.200.000 people, very close
to Monastir, one of the most famous tourist resort in Northern Africa.
Sousse  is one of the oldest cities of Tunisia with an authentic Medina
declared UNESCO World heritage. MRC will take place at Moevenpick Resort &
Marine Spa, located down town Sousse in front of the sea.
