Colleagues,
I wanted to reach out again to put the Futures Forum on Learning (next
Monday and Tuesday, June 20th and 21st) on your radar.
We’d love to have you register and participate.
A few things to note:
-
Great speakers. The event will include some fantastic speakers including
Steve Levitt, author of Freakonomics and professor at the University of
Chicago; Mark Schneider, the Commissioner of the Institute of Education
Sciences; and Joy Chen, US Chief Investment Officer from TAL. Plus, there
will be a special guest that you’ll have to just tune in for.
-
Tools competition with up to $1 million in prizes. On the second day of
the conference, we will be helping launch a new Tools Competition with up
to $1 million in awards for innovative solutions to learning loss from
COVID-19.
-
Truly global event. Our panels include deep dives on how COVID-19 is
impacting learning in India, China, Middle East, and a number of other
regions, featuring impressive speakers stepping up with solutions like
Ashish Dhawan the Founder and Chairman of the Central Square Foundation.
It will also be a great opportunity to learn about the emerging field of
Learning Engineering, which has been a priority area of work at Schmidt
Futures.
Register for the event — and learn more about the competition -- on the
Futures Forum on Learning website <https://futures-forum.brightstaging.com/>
.
And of course, please feel to reach out with questions and flag this
opportunity for others you think might be interested.
Best,
Meg Benner
