I am delighted to share that we have an opening for a research fellow (data
science in education) at Monash University.
We are looking for a Research Fellow (Data Science in Education) to play a
leading role in the Faculty of Education’s newly established ‘Education
Futures Initiative’. A key strand of our ‘Education Futures’ work is to
establish data science protocols and support data-informed research within
the Faculty of Education. In collaboration with other members of the
Education Futures team, the Research Fellow will develop data science
grounded methods, to provide relevant stakeholder groups with insights from
large and diverse sources of data. In addition, the Research Fellow will
undertake high level and basic research, and explore how novel data science
approaches and data mining methods can be applied to reveal new insights
into education and learning.

Employment Type: Full-time
Duration: 2 year fixed-term appointment
Remuneration: AUD $95,297 - AUD $113,166 pa Level B (plus 17% employer
