Pardos 3rd: SCUT Data Mining The winners of this year's competition will be presenting at the KDD Cup workshop held during the annual KDD conference, which runs from July 25-28 in Washington, DC. The KDD Cup is the annual Data Mining and Knowledge Discovery competition in which some of the best data mining teams in the world compete to solve an practical data mining problem of some importance. This year's challenge asked participants to predict student performance on mathematical problems from logs of student interaction with Intelligent Tutoring Systems.
