Yes, but I do think that Ian & Cliff could call this next meeting (it’s still
the last party era).
Thanks Cliff and Ian for a phenomenal, dedicated 10 years of Elmfield Road
Street Party ...and it continues!!!

Ian/Cliff - Seconded. You chaps have done an amazing job. Should we have a
meeting to discuss who needs to do what and how we take it forward?

Hi all,
See attachments, for the Elmfield Road street party finances. There is a
healthy surplus of £310.21 to kick off next year. Many thanks to all for
making this possible, especially Roy for his Sponsored long distance cycle
ride and for volunteering to take over the 'Poisoned challis' of treasurer.
The line highlighted ‘Surplus alcohol, £70.00’ is what I estimated the left
over spirits to have been worth. Not knowing how much of that has been used
since, I’ve kept the left overs and contributed the £70.00.
Speaking of next year, myself and Ian will be taking a back seat to
recharge our batteries after 10 years. This means we won't be actively
involved in the planning process next year. However, everything is in place
for the smooth running of future street parties. The gazebos are a godsend
and easy to put up. I will be happy to help out 'on the day' and I'm sure
Ian will be happy to impart his knowledge of organising this event, should
it be needed. The street website has a record of all the previous street
party meetings, going back to the first event, that people can use as a
resource. What we're looking for really is fresh blood, maybe with new,
fresh ideas to take the baton.
And finally, anyone up for Quiz night this Sunday, kick off is 8.30?
Clifford
