Hello
I actually emailed them this evening to see if we will have a vote on this. I
too prefer option two, a smallish wall with the fence inbuilt. Seems the least
intrusive/disruptive to the current view/fencing?

Thanks for this Ian.
Am I right in thinking that they want us to put our heads together to
"determine
our preferred option" before September? If so, many on the street won't be
aware
of this.
I thought the project was earmarked for 2019. However, at the consultation, I
did register my preference for Option 2, on the feedback form, that being, the
existing wall being raised by 600mm, with a shorter fence on top, bringing it
upto the existing height (1800mm or 6ft.). The draft plans for opt.2 now have
the wall height at between 600mm - 800mm.
I'd like to know others views.
Clifford

Dear Ian
Thank you for your email, I have attached the drawing for the proposed
options at Elmfield Road, which is watermarked as draft. I am conscious
that this is a technical drawing that may require explanation so please
do not make any copies or distribute this more widely than your
neighbours. If there are any questions please refer them to us directly.
The project has a tight schedule and we will need to determine the
preferred option before your party in September in order to keep the
scheme on track. However, we received quite clear feedback at the event
that a wall would be most favoured by Elmfield Road residents so we will
be focusing on determining whether that option is feasible.
Once we have a preferred option, the next stage will be to develop the
design of the scheme in more detail. We will of course continue to
consider any comments and feedback we receive as we develop the design
further, so please do encourage your neighbours to keep sending in any
further suggestions or ideas.
Kind regards
Laura
