Barry S attempts to answer:

Dear Talila,

At the risk of sounding like a total idiot, I'll try to answer, because
after sitting through a whole TOC course

on the new module, heck if i know. So i feel ignorant and stupid.

(TOC means a course where the participants show up and put their Tushies On
Chairs, rather than correspond via

some kind of electronic media. )

My guess is that the teaching of Literature is "infused" with the thinking
skill methodology.

Sort of like if you're drinking herbal tea in the local Pedagogical center
computer room ( strictly forbidden) and

some klutz knocks into you and it gets all over your new sweater. You are
now infusioned with HOT.

Anyway, don't get on airs just because your question got answered. Soon
you'll want to know what a benchmark is.

Coming Soon ( Hopefully before ETAI) : my new publication: Higher
Order Thinking Skills for Dummies.
