It's time for my annual reminder!
If you have a student with a hearing loss in your class / school / or
region this is the time to get some important information from a counselor
(or to ensure that the teacher in your school / region has asked for
information).
I have found that problems arise when teachers with the best of intentions
simply jump to conclusions regarding allowances and accepted practices when
teaching such students.
