[etni] Class size and a good short play

In response to two messages from the list -
1. "Zoo Story" by Edward Albee is excellent. It is short,
full of messages, interesting and readable. I've never
taught it because I have been teaching in JHS but I hope to
teach it either this coming year or next year. I don't know
if it is widely taught because I haven't found lesson plans
about it on the web.
2. About class size - We seem to be the only country in the
world where the powers that be seem to think that by firing
teachers and increasing class size (and by putting all
special ed kids into the regular 40+ sized classes) school
achievement will improve. I guess the world is wrong.
