The David Yellin College is happy to announce the opening of a unique,
innovative, challenging yet practical professional development opportunity:
* The Department Coordinators and Mentors Course.*
This course is tailored toward promising teachers who are seeking to
further their professional development and are interested in mentoring
novice teachers.
Successful candidates will be eligible to mentor teachers in their i*mmunei*
*horaa* and *stage* year, and will be awarded 112 hours and a full *gemu*l
as well as a diploma qualifying them for the position of department head and
mentor. *Ofek Hadash* teachers may opt for specific sections of the course
for their mandated 60 hours.
The course is coordinated by Dr. Shai Aran, Ministry of Education Supervisor
and Lecturer at the David Yellin College of Education. It will take place at
the David Yellin College on Sundays, 16:00-19:30, from October 30, 2011 to
mid-June, 2012.
