They both come from the same place. They blame veteran old teachers for the
problems in schools today. Instead of looking at the fact that kids don' t
sleep enough, which impinges on their attention span etc, they say that
teachers are boring.
Instead of asking veteran experienced teachers to brainstorm on better
teaching methods, they brought in businessmen and principals to see how to make
teachers work harder to be "more interesting."
They're reforming the superficial system instead of going back to basic
curriculum. Phonetics, grammar, the multiplication table and tactile abacus.
