I would like to thank all the organisers of the Summer ETAI Conference.
I came away with ideas I want to use next year such as "Whose line is it.
anyway?" and "Hortton sits on an egg" by Dr Seuss, as a great text for yud
aleph and bet literature and an idea for a project using disposable cameras
(S.N.O.W. blogs).I got some important insights into reading from Avril Rose
from I watched Elaine Coleman (Ricanati Prize winner together with Titzan
Tigger and Neri Gester) racing backwards and forwards in pink hat and umbrella
as Mary Poppins. I got slightly drunk at Eric Cohen's expense while trying to
recognize Queen Elizabeth and Elvis. I laughed almost without stop at Barry
Silverberg's session and had a nice walk home with Brenda Lipz during which
time I realised how good the air conditioning had been at the conference.
Bumped into almost everyone I've met over the years and won NOTHING at all in
the raffle draw.
