*Effective Teaching for Meaningful Learning *

Engaging pupils in meaningful learning necessitates effective teaching
practices. However, the relevant and extensive research is 'equivocal as to
what effective teachers do that makes them more successful than others'
(Gamoran 2011).

This presentation will examine insights that emerged from my study into the
practices of effective EFL teachers in our context.

*17:30 - 17:40 Break*

children regarding: 1) Raising awareness about text types, 2) Test items,
3) Coping independently with written instructions.

needs to cater to many different levels, but while everybody talks about
the Non Readers problem, less attention and effort is given to these
Anglo-Saxon learners. I will be presenting a study plan.

*Jr. High School*

*Debbie Poplinger Katz - Ideas for working with weak learners in Junior
High.*

I will present a selection of user-friendly tools for you to use with your

encourage and motivate these challenging students.

A few tips about how best to train your students for Module D and F
