I am the Israel coordinator for a relatively new non-profit organization
called Skilled Volunteers for Israel
<http://www.skillvolunteerisrael.org/> (SVFI)
  We match experienced, professional North Americans (age 40+) with
meaningful skilled volunteer opportunities in the non-profit sector in
Israel. A customized volunteer position is specifically designed to apply
the volunteer's skills and interests to the needs of an organization.
We have several requests from experienced English teachers who would like
to volunteer here in the summer for a period of 2-4 weeks. I am interested
in finding out about programs for teaching English that take place in youth
villages or educational institutions. I am particularly interested in
places that may provide living accommodations for the volunteers (either
room and board or relatively inexpensive housing).

Any information regarding English teaching opportunities that would welcome
our experienced volunteer  teachers would be appreciated. Please contact me
