Dear Colleagues- Hello! We had a short brainstorming session at the
Ulpana today to see what we can do to help our pupils out for the
duration of the war.
I was given the job of recommending English Internet sites that offer
online tutoring to pupils. I have no experience with this. What I would
assume is that just as with videos and CDs some of these sites which are
run for a profit are better than others.
I can just see the ads: "Learn English Online in 3 Weeks" blah blah; why
not? The media claimed there was a proposal to turn English speakers
into English teachers within that time span, as I recall :)
If you personally have any experience with a company that offers GOOD
online tutoring, please let me know. Or if you have the names/ e-mails
of anyone who has information on this topic, please pass it on to me. My
principal will then go after the financing. He says there are vouchers
he can utilize; etc.
