Hi all,
I just feel like sharing something with you all. In January of this
year
I participated in an "Insight" seminar of self-awareness and personal
growth.
The seminars are run by an organization called "Insight" and take 5 days
(three evenings and two full days in the week -end) and then four more
evening
meetings (optional) starting from two weeks after the five day seminar.
The Seminars are conducted completely in English by a facilitator who
comes to Israel (the seminar is simultaneously translated into Hebrew
and participants can choose to speak in any of the two languages).
The Insight facilitator is supported by Israeli Insight graduates whom
assist and work long hours on a strictly voluntary basis. During the
seminar you're not lectured to or told what?s good or bad. You mainly
learn and practice individual processes that slowly build up your
self-awareness with the view of helping you become more effective
in your personal, inter-personal and professional lives. The processes
you practice and go through are amazing! On the last day of the
seminar if anyone says that the seminar was useless "Insight" refunds
his or her money.
At least from my own experience, what I learned and experienced
during the Insight Seminar has, among other things, also helped me
become more effective in the classroom not only in teaching but also
in the all important interactions and relationships with students.

The next Insight-1 Seminar, which is just IDEAL for teachers on
summer vacation, will take place between the 10th and 14th of August.
