I teach present simple with a heart (and a body) to show that verbs
about feeling and senses are used in present simple - not progressive,
i.e.: love, like, hear, smell (in something smells bad), see, know,
think, understand, prefer, sense, - well I could go on and on. Then I
differentiate between verbs that are done by intention and those are not
(stative) - see vs. look or watch, think in general vs. thinking right
now, hear vs. listen.
