Dear sirs!
We are a jewish institution located in vienna (if interested, view our
homepage: http://www.jbbz.at) and we teach young people and adults on
diferent levels of german and english.
With our apprentices (office/telecommunication), aged between 16 and
18, we would like to get in contact with an israeli partner class. Our
aim is to start a small, collaborative e-learning project, which should
last from september 2004 to february 2005 (which means one term). The
language should be english and the technology used in the beginning
should be mainly e-mail (chat or exchange in forums can also be used in
the course of the project). The main goal of the project should be an
intercultural one, which means getting to know israeli pupils more or
less the same age), exchange informations about ones personal life,
family, city, country in a way which leads from "myself" to "the
coountry I´m living in" in various steps.
Could you send me some information about how to find an appropriate
partner classe in Israel or do you know some teacher who could be
interested in working with us?
I`m looking forward to getting in contact with israeli teachers and
pupils
