We are seven English teachers from Sderot High school. Our school is
very spread out and we teach in 4 different locations where the
buildings are far apart from each other.
Because of the security situation, all the lessons take place inside
the classrooms and the children can't go to the library or computer
rooms. In addition, we don't have enough protected classrooms to use one
as an English room.
In order to motivate our pupils to learn English and since our pupils
have to spend a lot of time in the classrooms, we decided to make
various sets of educational games in English as well as create our own
games for different ages. We also intend to purchase ready made games.
The idea behind this initiative is to use these games during the times
of emergency.
Unfortunately we don't get any budget from our school to purchase
materials for making games or for buying new games.
We need help in purchasing games and materials such as: bristol board,
plastic sheeting, colored paper, markers, colored printer ink, etc...
