* Assistive Technology and Adaptive Techniques: Emphasis on
literacy (text-to-speech, text readers and dictionaries) and word
prediction. Lecturer - Dr. Ellen Hoffenberg-Serfaty ? David Yellin
College and Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Learning Center for the
Blind.
* Web-Enhanced English: A Joint Project by Israeli Universities.
Lecturer - Dr. Sharon Hirsch, Head EFL Dept, Hebrew University of
Jerusalem.
* A Layman's Guide to Evaluating Educational Software: Lecturer -
Meir Komar, Department of Science and Technology Teaching, Jerusalem
College of Technology.
* Hands-on workshop: Guidance and Practice with selected assistive
technology programs, including Read Please, Babylon and Word Q,
including familiarity with interfaces and changing configurations.
