Hi. I'm pretty sure that my question does not fit
into your exact area of expertise, but when I searched
online for "Israel Teaching Credentials" your site
came up, so I thought you might be able to help me.
I'm a math teacher in New York in a private school and
we're making Aliyah next summer. I have a bachelors
in engineering (enough math and science courses to be
equivalent to a degree in math or chemistry) and no
formal education courses. What are the courses that
are required to become certified in Israel to teach
math there? If I could, I'd take a few this coming
year so that I'm all set when I get there, but I don't
want to do all of the requirements of New York State,
if the requirements in Israel are fewer.
