[etni] Facebook page for a character as a book report

I gave my class the initial task for a bookreport/task of creating an
imaginary Facebook page for a character in the book. Through "Status'
updates, comments, friends, birthday, hometown, likes/dislikes etc.,
they'll give an overall picture of the book in a fun way (and there
will be an alternative assignment for those who want nothing to do
with FB). Some students have asked if they can open a real FB page to
do the assignment. I am a little concerned with privacy issues and how
they would add comments to Status updates from other characters.
Before putting this assignment in writing, what other issues should I
consider? Would you allow your students to open a page like this?
