Arabic speaking Etnians
After a year of fussing and fiddling, my courseware for teaching
English to speakers of Arabic is available. It teaches (mainly)
English vocabulary and (secondarily) English grammar from the zero
level up to the bagrut level. It's multimedia and runs on any PC from
Windows XP on up. For now it's totally free for any teacher or any
school that wants it. Just download the demo version from my web site
at www.he2.co.il. When you get to the home page, you'll see a button
that brings up the Arabic page. Click on "download" in Arabic and
away you go. It's a large file -- about 170 mg -- so it will take a
few minutes to download. Don't be impatient. After completing the
download and installing the program, you will be able to do
immediately a few sample lessons out of the 180 lessons that are
available. To get into all the lessons, you will need an access code
which I will be glad to send you as a gift. Then if you are
interested in having it for your school, just tell me how many
computers you have and I will send you as many access codes as you
need. That's all there is to it. Please don't reply to this posting
in Arabic, because I won't be able to answer you. And don't ask how
an English teacher who doesn't know Arabic managed to cook up this
amazing program. I really don't know myself. Suffice it to say that I
