Hello!
At school there is barely time to breathe (and maybe take a few bites of
the sandwich) between lessons. No time to talk about "why" do what I do.
The advantage of having my own blog is that I can work our my arguments in
writing, making it clearer for myself. And in this virtual day and age,
sometimes one can discuss the points with others, even with authors such as
Alfie Kohn. He was kind enough to weigh in on my thoughts about homework
for teens (guess what - he didn't agree).
I'm having trouble squaring his comments with my reality though. Israel,
EFL, not enough hours...You all are more familiar with my reality, I would
love to hear your thoughts on the matter:

On a totally different plane, I have discovered that bringing a camera to
school has enabled me to notice lots of unplanned things going on at our
high-school. Pure fun! I've decided to post a few pics taken on the school
grounds (no pictures of people at all!) every week on my blog to share the
