Siah VeSig welcomes you to join us at our annual
National Debating Championship!

Top debaters will be selected to represent Israel in one of two
international competitions being held this year. The World Individual
Debating & Public Speaking Competition will be held in Hotchkiss, CA this
March. World Schools Debating Championship will be held in Cardiff, Wales
this July.
Each participant will debate two rounds and has a chance to rise to round
three, the Final Debate.
We are happy to invite all potential English debaters to take part in the
competition,
and teachers, students and all interested in the art of debate are invited
to join the audience.
This year's prepared topic :This House Would Raise the Minimum Wage Program
15.30 Registration, allocation of teams and sides, rooms and judges.
Refreshments
16.00 FIRST DEBATE Prepared motion " This House Would Raise the Minimum
Wage"
17.15 Topic for the second (unprepared) debate will be announced
Half hour prep time
17.45 SECOND DEBATE
18.45 Break - refreshments.
19.30 Announcement of finalists and teams for final debate.
Half hour prep time
20.00 FINAL DEBATE (unprepared)
21.15 Scheduled conclusion
The competition will be held in the Aleh Lod High School.
Free transportation for Siah VeSig members will be leaving Binyanei Hauma at
14:30.
