Dear Readers,

With the Winter Conference "Perspectives" at Kaye College, Beer Sheva, just 
one week away (December 6th), the final preparations are in full swing. By 
now members will have received their copy of the latest issue of the ETAI 
Forum, including the conference program. The Forum is packed with 
interesting articles and useful information, and the conference program 
shows that there is an abundance of sessions, with something for everyone. 
Let's not forget the free doughnuts, drinks and sandwiches, donated by our 
very generous sponsors.

So come and "get your fill" of food and intellectual stimulation!  For those 
of you who are not members of ETAI, you can see the program on our website: 
www.etni.org.il/etai/   In addition, you can get a sample of articles from 
earlier issues of the Forum.

Also appearing on the site and in the Forum is information and a form for 
our new venture of Institutional Membership. We hope you will take us up on 
the offer, and encourage your principals to pay for your membership in ETAI. 
There is no other organization like ETAI in Israel that fosters the 
professional development of its members in order to provide them with the 
latest in methodology, technology, materials and ideas so that they can 
function to the best of their ability in the classroom, and achieve the 
highest standard in English language teaching.

In the next issue of this newsletter, I hope to report on the hundreds of 
teachers and student teachers who attended the Winter Conference. Come and 
join us there!  In addition, I hope to be able to announce our upcoming 
local events in various parts of the country. Look out for this information 
in order not to miss out on ETAI activities happening on your doorstep.
