In continuation to the cheating stories coming in:
In my first year of teaching, I had such a weak tet class and they all
copied from Zvi who was less weak and worked hard. But I didn't want to make
Zvi "teacher's pet" or alienate him from his peers so needed to catch them
red-handed.
After a test, where they all were irate because they'd been disqualified
(except Zvi), I drew their attention to their identical answer to question
no. 8 , which was : "My name is Zvi".
Zvi had given me a knowing smile and wink during the test when he'd reached
question 8, "What is your name?"
The not surprising postscript: Zvi is now a very successful hair stylist
with prices way beyond the means of his teachers.
