Subject: How to solve the Listening Comprehension Conundrum Five ideas

Let's see now. . .

We can't use tapes because there aren't going to be any more tapes.

We can't use MP's because not everybody has them...

We have real problems with CD's because people don't have them, the disks
don't work, the tracks don't play, there's a thousand
little landmines that await us on the exam date...

Howbout. . . (one:) Just drop the Listening Comp!

Nobody taught literature for ten years; now we have to teach literature so
we can certainly get away with no listening. But what about the pupils who
need to hear the exam?
That's a toughie...

OK: (Two) We put out a dish of cream on the floor the night before bagrut
and little fairies come out and drink the cream and read the exams.
(Three) We just tell the parents that it's not our problem and just
give one exam in one big room with a thousand procors. (If your proctor is
sick to yougo to a proctorologist?)

(Four): Feed all the kids' phone numbers into one big data base and on
the day of the Bagrut, Judy Steiner calls them all up with one press of a
button and they hear the exam over their phones.

(Five): We just wait patiently until the HOTS program kicks in and
then the kids will be so darn intelligent they'll find a way out of this
f____________ ( i mean Farkackteh) mess!
