Subject: I'm looking for help

Shalom ETNI, I'm sorry I don't know more about whom I'm addressing, but I'm hoping that this email will reach someone who's willing to take a little time to do me a great favor. I've been hired to teach English in an Israeli yeshiva high school in Beit Shemesh starting this fall. I have no experience teaching languages, no curriculum, and no idea how to get one or how to prepare my class for the Bagrut, which seems to be the main goal. What I do have is enthusiasm and a love of teaching, but I could really use some guidance. My class is small, only eight students, but it has a huge range of skills. One is a child of American Olim who speaks fluently but needs work on reading and writing, and another is a boy with a hearing disability who couldn't follow my example lesson at all. The later I'll probably be tutoring before each lesson. Would you please put me in touch with someone who could help me? Is there any standard curriculum that I could access? Please email me a response, because I'm currently away from home. Thank you very much for taking the time, Yitschak Smith
