In reply to David G's mail about Passport, the advantage of using this
dictionary is that it is very user friendly, whereas weaker students get
lost using the Oxford. AS to copying straight from the text, you have to
know what to copy. I think it is a great pity that this dictionary is no
longer allowed (to the best of my knowledge, unless something has changed.)
Furthermore, this dictionary is a great teaching tool for elementary and
Junior High school, getting pupils to learn easily how to us a dictionary.
However, parents are unwilling to buy it if they think that they will have
to buy another dictionary later.
