I appreciate all the comments that have been posted.

My example of b/p pronunciation difficulties was of course, to point out 
that the differences in consonant sounds and to bring awareness of this. The 
"th" sound does exist in Arabic which makes it easier to reproduce for 
Arabic speakers in deference to Hebrew speakers.

Yes, tolerance for all but awareness of the differences of mother tongue and 
the new language being learned.

I've been studying spoken Arabic and my teachers have both been Bedouin. I 
appreciate that opportunity to hear and learn from native speakers. I find 
it challenging to try and reproduce all the gutteral sounds that exist in 
Arabic and not in Hebrew or English, but I'd be missing out to learn Arabic 
from someone who "slurred over" these sounds and tried to make it more 
Hebrew-like or English-like for me.
