Subject: Saturday's Education Rally
Hi to all of you, today I participated in the first meeting of the
"Education Lobby" in the Knesset. It was very interesting to see the Knesset
members who actually show interest in education. It was also quite
frustrating to realize that they know exactly how justified our demands are
but that at least so far they don't really do too much about it. And if you
have any doubts, the strike is not going to end too soon. All the teachers
who were there agreed upon two points: 1) Nobody is ready to give in. 2) It
is highly important to bring as many people as possible to Saturday's
Education Rally in Tel Aviv. If we don't bring at least 50000-100000 people
to Tel Aviv, we are in serious trouble. A big demonstration will have an
impact on Knesset members and on how much they will be prepared to do for
us. So please make an effort and come (if possible with husbands, wives,
grandparents etc..

Ronit Tirosh (yes, you read correctly, she apologized several times for past

and I think I forgot someone else but I'm not sure So do your best to
come on Saturday!
