I usually tutor children. However, I was approached by a young woman who
asked me if I could teach her conversation. She is from Argentina, and
claims that she has basically no vocabulary . I would have to start
right from the beginning and my question is "how"?
How do I make a lesson plan for a one hour lesson, just teaching
conversation, and with an adult. With children, who are just beginners,
I play games, teach them to read and write etc. so there is not a moment
boredom in the lesson.
Also I was wondering if I should teach her to read and write, to make the
lessons a little more interesting, or should I just stick with the
conversation like she asked.
Your help would be so appreciated.. Any information, lesson plans or names
of suitable books would be of great help.
