Hi Etni,
I have a question or two about teaching in Israel. First, I have a BA in
English and a certificate to show that I completed a TESL program at my
university, both were earned at a US institution. Do I need to get
certification in Israel in order to teach ESL there? Second, I live in the
US right now and I'm not Jewish, but I do want to come to Israel and teach
for a year or two and then if I like it perhaps continue to live in Israel.
If I'm not making Aliyah, is it difficult to obtain permission to live in
Israel, or is there a kind of working visa I can obtain?
