The Aviv Folk Club - Wed. , June 4th , 8:45 onwards
Hi, Folks,
It's already the second folk club since Jacob's Ladder, but in the next
folk clubs we're still
going to enjoy some of the fruit of the festival , whether great
musicians who were jamming ,
or giving informal performance ( next to the allevator - do you
remember who started that
way ? ) or who played/sang on the open stage .
Here's this week's program , Wed., June 4th :
8:45 pm - Ariela ( or open stage )
9:00 - Jared Stein - did you notice the guy at the festival with very
long rastas
who played fiddle and guitar ( also the whistle ? ) and sang
? - that's him !
9:30 - a shortened break ( you'll see why )
9:50 - Tammy Katzin and Ari Katorza ( guitar ) - Tammy is a great
singer and a
teacher at Rimon jazz school. She and Ari are putting on a show
and she would like to give us an appetizer .
10:00 - Tim Hosman - the Bluesman ( but not only ). You may have seen
him
at the folk club about a year ago . Well now he is back ,and at
the festival he
played the open stage and jammed on the lawn at night with Sean
( of Sean
and Marianne ).
10:30 - Jason Feddy ( from US, originally for UK )
Jason isn't a Jacob's Ladder bird ( not yet , at least ) . Jason
played for us
last time he visited his family in Israel and he is back for a
tiny visit.
He writes great songs and his energy will take you far away.
What a treat of an evening !!!
