I am pleased to announce the creation of a new English portal. The portal
provides a wide range of resource material for teachers such as worksheets,
links and activities, all searchable from the green toolbar at the top of
the page. Teachers who work in the Ministry of Education can actively

The purpose of these guidelines is to provide teachers with a better
understanding of the aims of the Meitzav English test and the test content,
as well as to enable them to make use of the test results in their classroom
teaching. Included in this guide is a mapping out of the test together with
a detailed Answer Key for grading student performance. It also presents
analyzed samples of student performance, including common errors as well as
recommendations for the classroom. This analysis may serve teachers in
analyzing and interpreting the results of their classes, in diagnosing
students' strengths and weakness, as well as in allowing comparison of
performance against national norms.
