Hi All,

I picked up my first guitar, a Sears Roebuck's catalogue special, at the age 
of 13 or so. And now, at the young old age of 59, I've finally put it down 
in song - My first CD, "Time Flows Backwards", is here!  It's literally HOT 
off the press;  I picked up the cartons of packaged albums yesterday 
afternoon.

Just to fill you in, I'd been recording in Jerusalem with the amazing 
Bradley Fish, between classes, for the past 2 years. When I had time 
(teachers' strike!), I was down and out with no money and when I had pennies 
clinking in my piggy bank, I was worn out from my pedagogical duties. But I 
kept thinking and singing... WE SHALL OVERCOME and it's done at last.

I'll be launching "Time Flows Backwards" at Fiddler's Green Festival in Co. 
Down, N. Ireland this month and then bringing it back home. Note the 
following venues and dates. More information to follow.

Tues., Aug. 11 -  Ashan Hazman, second-hand book shop, Rehov Ringlebloom 86, 
Beersheva, tel. 077 764 4218,  9 PM
Thurs., Aug. 27, Kibbutz Tzora Folk Club
Thurs., Sept. 3, Karmiel Folk Club
Wed., Sept. 16 - Tel Aviv Folk Club at Bikurey Ha-itim
