I took the advice that Avi gave and I've started clipping pictures from the newspaper. You just need them as prompters to let the kids talk. Since they need to express their feelings, I wouldn't try to hem them in with a directed lesson plan. Francine
School year is starting soon. Our students will not be in the very best mood to start studying.
I wonder if any of you has already come up with nice ideas relating to the terrible situation we are involved in. I am looking for special stories, articles, poems or any other activities that can serve as a trigger to open up, discuss etc.
