Usually I don't write to ETNI. I just read how people feel about issues.
This time, however, after the winter bagrut, I felt I had to comment.
For a long time, I have longed for the type of bagruts given in the 80's.
This, however, is not to be.
Still, after having read the modules given on bagrut - I must say I was
quite, unpleasantly, surprised.
I found the G to be exceptionally easy. The E - challenging for 4 point
students
and the C extremely difficult for the 3 point students.
We are expected to follow guidelines and prepare students for bagrut -
however, I feel the discrepancy between the bagruts and what is taught - is
unfair.
They are disproportionately either too difficult or too easy.
Challenging is great - but when it comes to a 3-point student - I believe we
have to be realistic and fair.
