Hi All,
If you ever consider joining a microsoft course given at John Bryce, think
twice.
In December 2004, my colleague and I registered for a course in preparing
internet sites that was advertised on Etni for English teachers. The 4
session course was offered by Microsoft and was to take place at John Bryce
for 3 sessions with the last session to be given at Microsoft in Raanana.
We both received confirmation for registration and were told to present it
on the first day of the course. Since almost a year had gone by, we called
Microsoft to make sure that the course would take place as scheduled and
that we were on the list. Our registration was confirmed and we were told to
go as planned.
At John Bryce, we were told that no such course was listed. After calling
Microsoft, we were told that the course had been cancelled that day and that
we should have been informed by e-mail!
Not true, our e-mail was checked and no such message was sent!
Who is responsible for this scandal?? Who do we turn to?? Are we the only
two teachers who registered for this course?
We would like to hear from other teachers who perhaps had the same
experience. Our humiliation is not ours alone. We are representatives of a
collective group of teachers. Is that how they treat us?
Tzila
