Subject: fav "cheater"stories
I have "enjoyed" the various stories and plans to catch
kids who copy work... Here are 2 of my favorites...
1) I know that the child was dishonest..When I asked him to explain his
answers on tests .he always claimed "The test was last week so I don't
remember!" Then I had him sit on the seat directly in front of my desk but
didn't manage to figure out how he did it!!! Until I stood in the back of
the classroom and saw the notes he had written on the front of my desk!!!
2) The project was to find a recipe , write the ingredients and the
instructions in English. Of course the girls had no idea what they meant
when they wrote a 10 inch pan or 350 degrees!! But the payoff came when
....as Bogie said "of all the joints in the world......(or something
similar)..of all the magazines ine English in the world..they just happened
to have a teacher who never throws out magazines and just happened to have
the same one they copied from!!!!
