Hi All,
I just drove home from Beersheva, my radio tuned to Reshet Aleph. I caught a
program for teens by teens which is broadcast weekdays. The topic of
today's discussion was "inventions" and the "lighter" inventions described
focused on cheating!
The 17 year old interviewed, a pupil going into 12th grade, eagerly shared
his experience and excitement with the listeners; he explained how to make
best use of your cellphone during an exam, SMSing questions and answers when
the teacher's not looking, photographing answers, and also, how to use your
blue tooth to copy! (didn't quite get that one!) He went on to use of an
i-pod where all the material can be recorded and at one's fingertips
(ear-tips?) when needed. Now, how many of you have had kids request to
listen to "music" while they take their exams???!!!
This young man, seemed proud of his achievements and pointed out that he'd
never been caught in the act. He found it quite amusing to to hear a young
women, now in her 20s, describe the old-fashioned cheating methods such as
writing the answers on the wrist under a watch strap, on the inside of one's
fingers and....on the inner thighs (wearing a mini-skirt, I gathered)!!!!
