We do a lot of work on this in our learning center . For example,
looking at posters from that era (WWII - not post) listening to
songs that typified the era (Over There, GI Jive, Army-Airforce
song), work on fashion of the time and what it said about the era -
design clothing for the characters. Also, post WWI (the time
when Joe was growing up ( Buddy can you Spare a Dime).
