I don't understand the conditions for extra LD hours. According to our
secretary- the one who supposedly takes care of payments... we only get paid
for working with a specific LD kid during the whole year and need to get an
agreement (?) from (?) in order to do this and need to prove that the
student needs this help.. HOw does that help me?? I have a class of 27- this
year they'll be 12th graders - 23 of them areLDs of some sort - most of them
need "Hakarat Shalon"; 3 of them get Oral Testing - all of them have
Spelling Exemptions" and Extra time....(the latter means I don't get the
"Big Break" whenever they have a test!!!
So, of course, since I didn't have any
agreements ,etc for the past year and was told I didn't qualify for extra
pay... the story of my life!!! jesg
