On the whole, the exams seemed okay. E was a little easy, but you can't have
it all. (Also, how do they manage to produce a paper with a spelling
mistake? See A - listening...)

However, I was disappointed to see that there were 8 questions on G when in
the past there have only been around 6. Each question required thought, so I
don't think that was fair. At least we should have been warned about the
added questions so that we could guide our students about time planning. I
must admit I was quite shocked when I looked at such a long paper. Maybe we
were warned and I missed it?

I'd like to hear what others thought.

I've been on the list for many years and this is the first time I can recall
such a thing happening.
Could it be that the Ministry has finally got it right? Could it be that
each module was actually a little more difficult than the one preceding it?
Could it be that both the texts and the questions were actually sensible?
Could it be that there were no typos or more-than-one-answer questions?
Could it be that all the schools received the correct number of tapes and
that there was no problem with any of the listening texts? My goodness,
what is the world coming to?
If that really is the case, then we should at least gives kudos to all those
anonymous people who write and approve the modules (they are definitely out
there among us, hiding in unknown places and reading what we write). So
on behalf of the silent majority (without their permission but hoping for
their approval) I say thank you for at last getting it right.
