Our school is a bit "weak" in resources, so every year the English teachers
including myself have to bring our own tapes and radios and every radio
available at our neighbors just to supply the needed radio for all the
rooms, and then sit for at least an hour to set all the radios on the right
frequency. and it has happened many times that the supervisors change the
frequency while taking the radios up to the exam rooms, and someone had to
run and set them again in the very last minute. Additionally, sometimes the
people who supervise over the students forget to turn on the radios on time
and someone has to run between all the rooms to make sure that the radios
are on on time. worse than that in some classes the reshet gimel is not
received properly and the students complain that the broadcast was not heard
properly.
Therefore, I sure hope that our voice will be finally heard and something
would be done in the matter of broadcasting the listenning comprehension
texts on radio.
