Last year the 11th grade did the first module in the summer. This year they (now in 12th grade) did the second module now, and will do the 3rd in the summer.
This year's 11th grade did the first module now (winter).
So we had all the 11th and 12th graders being tested this week . I think it was too hard - we had a problem finding enough rooms for everyone!

So next year we might have all the 11th grades take one module in the winter, and the 12th grades do 2 modules in the summer.
Except, of course, for the 3-4 point group, and the 4-5 point group, who all do 5 modules, and will have to do at least 3 moadim. (When? maybe summer 11th and winter and summer 12th. or something else...)

Sandy asked why we try not to have students take the winter Bagrut. By us
it's simply a matter of TOO MUCH already. Our students currently do modules
at the end of 10th, 11th, and 12th grade, so they have plenty of time to
make up whatever they want to redo, etc. Having yet another moed with
tziyunim shnatiim, vacation before the test, setting everything up, etc. is
just too much and really unnecessary in most cases. However, this may change
as I am quite unhappy with students starting Bagrut in 10th, and would like
to push the starting date off to the summer of 11th, which would make the
winter of 12th more critical. Of course, according to the latest reports
from the Ministry, it's very likely that in a year or two there won't be any
more modules and all students will have to take their Bagrut in 12th, which
is another way to solve the whole problem...
