Are you getting American sitcoms in Israel? OY!!!!! I am on the ETNI list
and some of the e-mails I read sound like the mirror image of what we public
school teachers are going through here now (CA). All that counts is test
scores, large classes, scripted programs from which one may not deviate
and....drum roll....now they are "giving" us a 12 per cent pay cut and 4
furlough days. What a plan!!
When my Grandpa was alive and we had family dinners, when there was a
family, he would toast with, "Next year in Israel." Some day I will.
