The world we live in

One of my colleagues pointed out that her daughter ( my ex student) finished
her studies in Computers, and landed a job which from the start paid more
than her mother earns today. That's the way the world bounces.

Even if one in 20 laid off techie becomes a viable English teacher, that's
still 100 new teachers. And for the baintaim, most of them will prefer to
stay at home, collect unemployment, collect bottles and cans rather than
come teach, unless somebody wafts a large
financial increment under their high tech noses.

That's the way the cookie is accepted.

What if in a few years, hitech renders our jobs obsolete.

Do you think they will try to hire us to design systems or whatever they do
at an above hi tech salary?

That's the way the computer crashes.
