Hi All,
Once again, I'm turning to you all to help me, this time, to transport a
pile of boxes filled with library books from Jerusalem to the south. Deborah
Lionarons, librarian of the JELLY library in Baka, Jerusalem, has been
keeping these books "on ice" for me but I haven't been able to pick them up.
If anyone can help me by getting them as far as Beersheva, I will collect
them there and deliver them to the Bedouin schools. Many of you already know
I've been building English-language school libraries in the Bedouin Sector.
Sadly, most schools do not have libraries and most municipal libraries lack
English-language books. Bedouin villagers have no access to any nearby
English-language library!
